FINALLY

I finally got a few minutes to update the blog. There are a lot of pictures and a few entries, so keep scrolling down so you get all of them. Sorry it has taken so long, we have been a little busy. Two kids... not so easy.

Colins first 2 months

Spencer is such a good big brother... most of the time.

we finally started getting some smiles.

and then just some more pictures of him sleeping.

don't let these pictures fool you, he doesn't sleep that much, but we still love him.

Don't ask...

ok, you can ask. This is a wig his uncle Billy used for a church activity. Spencer just looked so funny I had to get this in here.

Spencers Pictures

Here are some more pictures of when Spencer turned 2!! I just haven't put them up yet.

The start of our wonderful adventure:

eventually she got out some balls and a bike and he cheered right up.

but that only lasted so long...

eventually she had to get out some other toys, and that did the job until the end. :)

Our Bundle of Joy #2

Sorry for the cliche title but I couldn't help myself but truthfully, seeing and holding a brand new baby (especially one considered offspring) brings an amazing amount of joy into one's life. The future will bring more pictures of Colin Gardner Bitton but here are a couple to whet your appetite. He looks a lot like Spencer at birth except he has dark hair and a bit darker complexion. He was born @ 10:09 11/17/08, weighed 7 lbs 13 oz, and measured 19 inches. He shares his day of birth with Rock Hudson, Gordon Lightfoot, Martin Scorsese, and Rachel McAdams. He came home today and loves to sleep and eat. His interests don't seem to lie in "choo-choo's" like his brother but more along the science fiction side. I've never seen a baby so happy as Colin was as we watched the HD Trailer #2 for the upcoming Star Trek movie. See http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/startrek/ to feel what Colin felt.

All Hallow's Even

Here are some pictures from Halloween of Spencer. It should be noted that the clown outfit was previously worn by Spencer's uncles over 20 years ago and was made by Spencer's grandma. I (it is Ryan writing) made something called "Trail Boss Chili" for the Halloween Chili Contest, while I didn't win I definitely think of the creation as an honorable mention. It involved large amounts of pork ribs, beans, Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, and Cholula.

Who can wear the most Hats...

I don't know if you watch Sesame Street, but there was an episode where Elmo had a competition that was called "Who can wear the most Hats!" So, I think Spencer decided he could do it too.

Finally, Spencer is 2!!

Here are a few pictures of the party we had for him. We decided last minute to invite family and a few friends over to celebrate his birthday. Spencer was so excited with all the Dora the Explorer decorations.

We had so much fun, I am glad we did it!!

Catching Up!!

I know I am way behind on the blog, so here are some random cute pictures and then I added some extra blog entries. Happy reading!!

Spencer loves climbing in the play place at McDonalds, of coarse, it scares me to death because if he gets stuck, I am too big to go in and get him :)

Here is Spencer playing with his Aunt Camille and Aunt April in the summer. They let him do all the things mommy and daddy won't, like climb on them and let him play with the cell phone.

Spencer is in a phase where he likes to just get every car, ball, etc.. he has and line them up just so. Here he is with his cars, you can see the pride in his face that he lined them up and could actually push them across the coffee table.
and of coarse, the finished product...

Filling Daddys Shoes

I love the phase where they love to try on all shoes, even if they are 10 sizes too big!!
