the obligatory Christmas 2009 post!

I have had issues of where to put our tree in our little house since we moved in. There never quite seems to be a good fit. The first year I rearranged furniture trying to fit it, the second year I just didn't even put it up, and the third year I squished it in between our table and wall. It seems a little tight but I think that is going to be from now on.

On Christmas Eve we went to my Mom's house to open our yearly pajamas.

Colin looks very excited!!

Christmas morning...

It was a fun Christmas and I really enjoyed it and I may have even got a little carried away but that made it even more fun!

Colin's 1st Birthday

Colin turned 1 on November 17th and we decided to do a little family party for him. It was lots of fun and I think it is one that Colin will remember. jk. I am not going to say that time flew by but I am going to say that I love him and am happy to have him in our family! :)

Halloween 2009

Here are some of our fun Halloween pictures. It is nice having Spencer grow up and understand more of the Holidays so he can participate. It is also nice not being 9 months pregnant this year!

The little co-op Preschool class that we do had a fun Halloween party on Friday morning. All the kids dressed up and played games. This party was Spencer's favorite thing about Halloween this year. It was great!

Spencer was Thomas the Train this year. I think he was sick of it by Halloween though because he started wearing it around the house when I bought it... which was the beg. of October. Oh well, now I know not to make that mistake next year. Although I probably will.

It wouldn't be an event unless I posted a picture of Brenner and Spencer together :)

I am amazed we got pictures with all the kids together.

Colin was so good, he just hung out in his stroller dressed up like a pumpkin.

We went to the Trunk-or-Treat on Friday night and then just stayed home on Saturday for the actual Halloween. The boys still got dressed up so their grandparents and aunts could see them via skype in Pocatello. This time I remembered to have Spencer wear his hat.

This has nothing to do with Halloween, it was just a cute picture of Colin so I decided to just put it up. He looks so old in it. Not my little baby anymore. :(

Colin 11 months

Here are just a few pictures of Colin. He is getting so big and is officially crawling and getting into everything!

I love pictures of babies in diapers.

Because of his mobility, I put him in his playpen to play for a bit in the day. Colin loves it and that makes me happy because Spencer hated it and that was harder. Colin likes to squish his face up against the side and yell for attention. I love it!!

Birthday Party!!!

Finally I got to have a party for Spencer at Pump it Up!! I have been wanting to do it since last August. I think I was more excited than Spencer. Well, no, he was pretty excited. It was a lot of fun and it was nice because in our little house we have restrictions on how many people can fit but there were no restrictions here, so we invited all the 3 year olds. :)

The day started out with Brenner bringing him by his present in the morning. Spencer was happy to get a new Edward train.

Spencer loves this slide. He doesn't even try anything else. He ran in and just hung out there the whole time.

Colin seemed to enjoy himself also. Of course, the fact that he was held by people the whole time may have had something to do with it...

We finished up with pizza, cupcakes and presents. What a fun day!

I hope you have time...

Well, we updated a lot of pictures so it might take awhile. I haven't got the Disney World ones up yet. I am waiting until we get our photo disk from Disney. Most of those pictures turned out better. Enjoy!

Lego Land!!!

We had a lot of fun in Lego Land. In keeping with Ryan's tradition of taking pictures with all the characters, we took pictures with all the lego characters. There was a Bob the Builder character that was real, not a lego character. We got a picture with him but it is not on my camera. I will post it later.

He was so excited to see Thomas. I love that they had everything Disney doesn't. It kind of finished the circle for us.

We couldn't even get him to leave Bob and Wendy. We have a million pictures of this. You can see in his face how much he loves Bob!

and now all the other lego pictures...

I'm going to put a few more random Lego Land pictures and then just add the rest to facebook so if you want to see them, check there. :)

they had an actual train for him to ride on!!

We went on this ride so many times, that I am sick of even looking at the pictures of it. :) It just takes you up to the top and then bounces you up and down.

This car ride was a disaster. He could not figure out that he needed to hold the pedal down. That kid behind him was getting so mad at him. I thought he was going to get out of the car and punch Spencer, he had major Lego Land road rage. I can't imagine when he gets older :) Needless to say, Spencer did not go on this ride again.

A nice leisurely boat ride with uncle Ya Ya. (That is what Spencer calls Billy)

I don't even have Chrissy to blame for him going in the water with all his clothes on this time. jk. He insisted that his socks stay on and I didn't really care to argue. He loves the water!

When Ryan changes Spencer for bed, he just automatically tucks in his shirt and pulls his pants up high. Spencer loves it and won't let me pull his pants down. At first it was something Ryan did just out of habit I guess. Now he just does it to bug me.

Colin is such a trooper!! What a good little baby.
